MS 061 BRITISH SCIENCE GUILD. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BRANCH
The Branch was formed early in 1911 to interest government and the people in the application of science to ‘all branches of human endeavour’. The Guild involved itself in education, human genetics and scientific publications. It lasted until 1924, but thereafter continued its work with publications for some years. Many leading South Australian scientists were associated with it, including H R Marston, J B Cleland and Kerr Grant.
