MS 165, AN 8812 - BODEN CONFERENCE 1981

In 1980 Alexander Boden FAA provided the Australian Academy of Science with funding to hold an annual series of small specialist research conferences in biology. The series began on a trial basis in 1981 and in 1985 Boden made a donation sufficient for their long-term continuation.

1. Organisational correspondence for first Boden Conference, Thredbo, 2-4 February 1981. The conference was convened by Professor W. Burke and its theme was “Vision”.
