MS 211 BRAY, Robert John (1929- Dr Bray was born in Richmond, Surrey, on 14 March 1929. He was educated at the University of Oxford (BA 1952, MA 1956, DPhil 1956). He came to Australia in 1956 to join the CSIRO Division of Physics, where he worked as a Research Officer 1956-62, Senior Research Officer 1962-69, Principal Research Scientist 1969-80 and Senior Principal Research Scientist, Division of Applied Physics from 1980. He was Chairman of the Australian Astronomy and Space Exploration Liaison Group 1983-86 and Australian representative, Large Earth-Based Solar Telescope Foundation from 1984.
