Mathematician

Carslaw was Professor of Mathematics, University of Sydney, 1903-34. Earlier he was assistant lecturer in mathematics, University of Glasgow 1896-1903 and a Fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge 1899-1905.

Book of press cuttings of reviews of Carslaw's publications 1907-1931. Most relate to Introduction to the theory of Fourier's series and integrals and the mathematical theory of the conduction of heat. London: Macmillan, 1906 and 3rd edition, 1930
