MS 134 - HUXLEY, T.H. (1825-1895)
During the early part of his scientific career, Huxley visited Australia as assistant surgeon and naturalist on board the Rattlesnake 1847-50 and carried out scientific research into the seas between the Australian coast and the Great Barrier Reef.
