1 Early geophysical reports by the Queensland Scientist. Australian AGSNA Surveys 1938
2 Early geophysical surveys of Laurel and Balaclava areas, near Broken Hill. Handwritten report by W E Foskett to Mine Superintendent, Broken Hill South Ltd, 6 April 1949
3 Report on Balaclava, Broken Hill area, 12 October 1948. This is one of the earliest reports by R L Stanton as a student or newly graduated geologist. From this work Stanton possibly made first acquaintance with Haddon King. Both later developed new theories on ore genesis.
4 Roneoed lecture notes on mining geology by J K Guftason and M D Garretty in the 1940s. Both were eminent geologists involved in a four man study of the geology of Broken Hill. These were probably the first courses in mining geology given to that date in Australia.
