MS 145 - COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM DIRECTORS
The Conference of Australian Museum Directors was established in the mid-sixties as representing the Directors of all the major Government-funded museums in Australia and continues to provide a valuable forum for establishing uniform museum and related policies and for developing pressures for innovation and support. Its name was changed to Council of Australian Museum Directors in July 1978. The papers are important documents involving the administration of science activities concerned with the use and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
