This file (file #2 of 2 files) contains documents and correspondence relating to

(unsuccessful) transfer of the Optical Observatory at Culgoora from the CSIRO to
the
University of Sydney, leading finally to the closure of the Observatory. The
period
covered is November 1984 to June 1988. Various documents and letters to and from
