BECKWITH, A L J (1930-2010)

Athel Beckwith was professor of chemistry in the Research School of Chemistry at the Australian National University 1981-1995, moving from the University of Adelaide, where he had been professor of organic chemistry and head of department 1965-1980. His research focus was the physical organic chemistry of free radicals.
