GIBSON, F W E (1923-2008)
Frank Gibson was Professor and Head of the Biochemistry Department, John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University, Canberra from 1967-1976 and from 1980-1988. From 1977-1980 he was Director and Howard Florey Professor of Medical Research in the John Curtin School. He was a world authority on the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids and vitamins.
