Guidelines for submitting abstracts

Calling for abstracts of studies that detail learning and teaching interventions and assessment practices that improve student engagement and learning. All abstracts will be reviewed blind by two reviewers. Abstracts will be accepted on the quality of the research plan and outcomes.
Abstracts are due by 19 November 2012, applicants will be informed of the outcome of their submission on the 26 November 2012.
All abstracts will be published in a conference booklet. Working groups are also encouraged to submit abstracts that outline the progress they have made during 2012.
The abstract should be 150 words and contain the following sections:
1. Title
2. Author(s)
3. Institution(s)
4. Background/context
5. Research/evaluation method
6. Outcomes
Oral presentation guidelines
Oral presentations will be allocated 15 minutes of presentation time. It is expected that the presenter will talk for 10 minutes and allow 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Use an asterisk to indicate who will be presenting at Game On!
Poster guidelines
A0 size - 841 mm wide x 1189 mm high
The poster should be in portrait orientation
Poster title, name, institution and email at top-centre of the poster. Use an asterisk to indicate who will be presenting at Game On!
Generally the poster should read from left to right, and top to bottom. Numbering the individual panels, or the use of arrows helps readers follow the sequence of the text.
