SCIENCE AT THE SHINE DOME canberra 3 - 5 may 2006

The Australian Academy of Science offered a special program for teachers, outlined below, in conjunction with Science at the Shine Dome. Those who attended:

  • learnt about the latest research across a range of science disciplines
  • met with renowned scientists and young researchers
  • exchanged ideas and curriculum materials with interstate colleagues and
  • participated in an education workshop.

Catholic, Independent and State education authorities were invited to send representatives. In addition, teachers who received Australian Academy of Science Teacher Awards also attended. The registration fee was $495 for the program.
