The President of the Science Society of Thailand, Professor Jisnuson Svasti, visits Academy.

The President of the Science Society of Thailand, Professor Jisnuson Svasti, visited the Academy in May to meet with Primary Connections staff during a visit to Australia to tour museums in Sydney and Canberra. Whilst in Sydney Professor Svasti visited and met with staff at the Australian National Museum, the Powerhouse Museum and Taronga Zoo. In Canberra he visited Questacon, the Australian National University, Tidbinbilla Nature Park, the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex and CSIRO Discovery Centre.

Professor Svasti was elected as President of the Science Society in 2008 and is currently Treasurer of the Federation of Asian Scientific Academies and Societies (FASAS).
