France-Australia Science Innovation Collaboration (FASIC) Program Early Career Fellowships 2012

Fifteen leading Australian early career researchers have been awarded scientific grants to undertake important research under France-Australia Science Innovation Collaboration (FASIC) Program Early Career Fellowships in 2012.

The program supports Australian early career researchers, from both the public and private sectors, to collaborate with international partners on leading edge science and technology in order to contribute to Australia's economic, social and environmental wellbeing.

Australian early career researchers will travel to research institutions in France to commence their projects in 2012. They will be working on a range of topics including: (1) medical science and biotechnology; (2) energy, including clean energy; (3) sustainable infrastructure and transportation; and (4) climate change and environment in the areas of marine science; land and water management and fire management.
The program is supported by the Australian Government Department of Innovation, Industry, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.
