The Asia Science and Technology Portal is designed to assist young researchers in the pursuit of R&D opportunities and international collaboration in Asia by providing information on job vacancies or international meetings in East Asia.
Australian Government’s Endeavour Awards
The Australian Government announced a new scholarship program as part of its response to the 2020 Summit. The Prime Minister’s Endeavour Awards provide scholarships for the ‘best and brightest’ university students from the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to do the same abroad.
Australian Research Council grants
The ARC funds research and researchers under the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP). These programs are grouped into Discovery, Linkage and Centres.

Embassy of France in Australia
The Embassy of France offers funding programs for collaboration with France, including the French-Australian Science and Technology programme (FAST) and the Cotutelle (PhD) programme.
JASON: Postgraduate Scholarship Database for Australia
JASON is a postgraduate scholarship search engine. Scholarships in the database apply to Australian students wishing to study at home or abroad, and to international students wishing to study in Australia.
National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) research funding
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) is Australia’s peak body for health and medical research; for health advice; and for ethics in health care and in health and medical research. About 8,000 Australians, most under the age of 45, are employed on grants from NHMRC. Australian researchers can apply for NMHRC funding through schemes ranging from scholarships to research programs.

The Fyssen Foundation
The aim of the Fyssen Foundation is to support research in psychology, neurology, anthropology, ethnology, human paleontology and archaeology. The Foundation offers Research Grants and Postdoctoral Grants for researchers to work in a French laboratory in keeping with the Foundation’s goals.
