SCIENCE ACADEMY ELECTS 16 NEW MEMBERS
2 April 2002


Sixteen of Australia's leading scientists, four of them women, were honoured on 28 March by election to the Australian Academy of Science.

The sixteen new Fellows will join the existing 326 Fellows of the Academy. Sixteen new Fellows are elected each year, with election to Fellowship recognising a career that has significantly advanced the world's scientific knowledge.
