What are Australia's quarantine measures for BSE?
Australia is currently free of scrapie and BSE. Describe the
quarantine measures that are used to ensure that it stays that
way.
Teachers notes
No live animals, embryos or semen can be imported from the United
Kingdom. This restriction has been in place since 1988. Regulations
about importing animals from other countries vary depending on
the country.
