Newton's Apple (USA)

Air bags and collisions

Science NetLinks (American Association for the Advancement of Science)

It's a crash test, dummy – students research air bags on the internet and then use that information to design and test a simulated air bag using a Ziploc® bag.

Kyrene School District (Arizona, USA)

Egg car – students design, install and test devices to protect an egg 'passenger'.

Scientific American Frontiers (Public Broadcasting Service, USA)
