The Robotics Academy (Carnegie Mellon University, USA)
- Robotics curriculum – complete robotics curriculum including sections on hardware, software, programming, mechanics, sensors and more. Not specific to insects, but full of information for teaching ideas and student activities.
Scientific American Frontiers, USA
- Natural born robots: Roboroach – students observe and draw insect movements and then use their observations to construct a robot insect model.
- On the wings of insects – students learn about different types of insect wings and construct a flip book to illustrate the coordinated flapping of insect wings.
- The frontiers decade: Cyberdecade – students design a robot using living organisms as inspiration.
