Philippa Rowlands is a freelance writer and editor. She has been writing for over 10 years in a broad range of areas, but has found a niche in scientific writing. Philippa enjoys exploring ideas and information from any discipline and creating clear, interesting and entertaining articles. She has the knack of explaining even the most complex and difficult concepts in an accessible way and for any audience. Philippa has written magazine articles, web content, education publications and promotions and publicity.

Philippa lives in Melbourne and has a busy and full life with her husband and children. When she is not at the computer writing science, she is sitting at the computer writing about fascinating places, interesting people, new ideas or she is creating pages for her first book.

Philippa has a Bachelor Of Education with majors in Biology and English Language and Literature from Victoria College (now Deakin University) and a Grad. Certificate in Scientific and Technical Writing from Deakin University.
