Awards

PrimaryConnections is proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row the program has been short-listed in the Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing. There were over 200 entries across the eighteen categories. This year a suite of PrimaryConnections resources, including MakingConnections – a guide for facilitators, the Connecting Minds DVD and the nine most recently published units were entered in the ‘Primary teaching and learning’ category.

In 2008, PrimaryConnections has once again been short-listed for the Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category. This year It's electrifying, Package it better and Schoolyard safari were submitted in this highly contested category.

PrimaryConnections was short-listed for the 2007 Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category. Spinning in Space, On the move and Water works were submitted for this award.

PrimaryConnections won the 2006 Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category. The award recognises the high standard of Weather in my world, Marvellous micro-organisms, Push-pull, Plants in action and the Questioning Minds DVD.

Category winner in 2006 at National publishers awards

The PrimaryConnections program links the teaching of science with that of literacy and
is a rich and innovative classroom resource.
The program incorporates a professional development component, useful background information, practical classroom ideas and activities, and assessment guidelines.
Student interactivity and use of technology, including CD-ROMs and website support,
will help teachers to feel confident in tackling the subject.
