In 2008, Primary Connections has once again been short-listed for the Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category. This year It's electrifying, Package it better and Schoolyard safari were submitted in this highly contested category.

Primary Connections was short-listed for the 2007 Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category. Spinning in Space, On the move and Water works were submitted for this award.

Primary Connections won the 2006 Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category. The award recognises the high standard of Weather in my world, Marvellous micro-organisms, Push-pull, Plants in action and the Questioning Minds DVD.

Judges' comment The Primary Connections program links the teaching of science with that of literacy and is a rich and innovative classroom resource. The program incorporates a professional development component, useful background information, practical classroom ideas and activities, and assessment guidelines. Student interactivity and use of technology, including CD-ROMs and website support, will help teachers to feel confident in tackling the subject.
