The professional learning programme lies at the heart of PrimaryConnections and is designed to build teacher confidence and competence for teaching science and literacy.
The professional learning programme includes the educational and pedagogical principles underpinning PrimaryConnections and effective facilitation tools and techniques.

PrimaryConnections Professional Learning Facilitators
PrimaryConnections has trained Professional Learning Facilitators in all jurisdictions in states and territories across Australia. Each facilitator works within their state to support schools expressing interest in implementing PrimaryConnections. Each state and territory has a professional learning coordinator who can assist you in finding a facilitator near you.
Facilitators deliver a variety of workshops including:
- A short presentation for principals
- A one-day whole-school introductory workshop
- 90 minute workshop modules to build knowledge of PrimaryConnections
