New Fellows seminar

  • This is the BEST professional development a teacher could ever have! It is an opportunity to hear about cutting-edge science. The new Fellows do an excellent job in reporting on their work in a concise, easy to understand format that is suitable to take directly to the classroom.

  • All excellent. It was wonderful to hear examples of Australian cutting-edge science. There were lots of things that we can take back to our classrooms and colleagues.

  • Very good. There were half a dozen talks which were of direct relevance to classes I teach and the information gained will be put to use immediately!

  • Excellent. Such a variety of topics and science relevant to the real world – will be great to use as examples and stimulus materials.

  • It was wonderful to hear all about the amazing research that is taking place in Australia right now. I felt honoured to be a part of this session.

  • Exciting. Besides the information we received, the enthusiasm for their field and for science in general is infectious and helped rejuvenate my enthusiasm.

  • This was very stimulating and it was a unique experience to be able to see how passionate these Fellows were in their area of expertise.

Symposium: A Celebration of Australian Science

  • One of the highlights to see the depth, scope and level of rigour in Australian research.

  • This was another excellent session with great speakers explaining their work with some enthusiasm and with great presentations.

  • It was important to see how young people are doing great things.

  • Great. Fantastic to hear from young scientists.

  • Great – good range of topics and speakers. Lots of useful information to share back at school.

  • It is great to see so many young researchers so enthusiastic about their research.
