Teacher feedback from 2006

New Fellows seminar

  • The New Fellows Seminar was fascinating. It provided great insight into a wide range of cutting-edge research.

  • A good variety of topics set at a level I could easily understand.

  • It was great to see the quality and depth of research being done here in Australia.
Education workshop
  • Professor Will Steffen’s presentation on global change and the Earth system was fantastic.

  • This workshop will change the way I teach my students in the future.
Annual symposium: Science on the way to the hydrogen economy
  • The symposium was excellent. I now feel more confident to teach this topic to my classes.

  • Very relevant and informative. The presenters were all very knowledgeable.

  • Interesting and challenging. Very useful information for teachers.

  • The effort that has gone into the presentations given by the symposium speakers is commendable.
Interaction with other teachers, young researchers and Fellows
  • It is a privilege to be among the best people in science.

  • All the Fellows, symposium speakers and young researchers that I spoke to were incredibly generous with their time.

  • The best part of the conference! I collected as many email addresses from young researchers as I could. I am going to contact them regularly for updates and journal articles.

  • A great opportunity that is all too rare.
