Economic perspectives on climate change

Anthea Harris is an assistant secretary with the Department of Climate Change, where she leads the Carbon Market Linkages Branch, in the Emissions Trading Division. Formerly, Anthea led the secretariat supporting the work of the Australian states and territories in developing a national emissions trading scheme to apply to the stationary energy sector. She has previously worked at an economics consultancy firm, where she worked on a range of greenhouse policy issues, including assisting the NSW Government design and implement its Greenhouse Gas Reduction Scheme. Anthea has also worked at the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet and the Productivity Commission.
