National Science Curriculum

Science by Doing will support the national science curriculum, which covers the science learning for all Australian students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Science by Doing will develop curriculum resources specifically for Year 7 to Year 10.

The Australian Academy of Science's Primary Connections program provides curriculum resources for kindergarten to years 6.

It should be noted with support from the Australian Academy of Science, Professor Denis Goodrum was asked to write the initial framing paper for the Australian science curriculum and during 2009/2010 provided leadership to the extensive writing team that prepared the curriculum. As a result of this close relationship the curriculum resources have been developed with the needs of secondary students and teachers in mind.
