Research and Evaluation
Science by Doing is an evidence-based education initiative. As such, it is guided by thorough research and evaluation at every stage. The trialling process for the work of Science by Doing is as follows:
Step 1: A resource or approach is developed.
Step 2: Trialling in schools across Australia (including State, Catholic and Independent schools).
Step 3: Feedback from trialling is analysed.
Step 4: Resource or approach is reviewed and amended in light of the evidence from trialling.
Step 5: Resource or approach is made available to schools.
The methodology and findings of the evaluations conducted during Stage One can be found in these publications.
