Professor Raubenheimer is the Leonard P Ullmann Chair in Nutritional Ecology at the University of Sydney. An expert in nutritional ecology, Professor Raubenheimer studies the interplay between nutrition-related aspects of animals' environments interact with biology and how these combined factors impact upon the animals' health. He has studied insects, fish, birds and a vaiety of mammals and works to use these studies to help inform research into human nutrition, such as the dietary causes of obesity.
