Nomination Certificate - 2024 round

For Ordinary Election (and Corresponding Membership)

(There will be no nominations for Special Election in the 2024 round, pending a review into Special Election by Council).

As a guide, please refer to the Information to Complete a Fellowship Nomination

Please regularly save your work by selecting the ‘SAVE DRAFT’ button. You may then exit the nomination and return to your saved draft at a later date to complete and submit the nomination.

Due dates

Registration: new candidates must be 'registered' by 31 July 2023.

  • To ‘register’ a new candidate please complete the following sections: Candidate’s Details (Section A) - enter the full name, date of birth, gender, and email address of the candidate, and upload their completed consent to nomination form into Section A; select a suggested Sectional Committee (Section D); and enter the name and signature (or written agreement) of the proposer, seconder and supporters (Section E).
  • Please note that the proposer declaration (required for proposers nominating candidates for Ordinary Election) may be submitted by 31 August.
  • Once you select the 'SAVE DRAFT' button, we can view your draft nomination and any information you have entered.
  • This is all you need to do at this stage to register your candidate.
  • You may then exit the nomination and return to your saved draft at a later date to complete and submit the nomination by 31 August.

Submission: all nominations are due by 31 August 2023.

  • Nominations for continuing candidates must be updated each year (paying particular attention to any changes or new requirements since the previous round - these are highlighted in the Information to Complete a Fellowship Nomination, linked at the top of this page).
  • All continuing candidates (for all types of election) must complete a new consent to nomination form and a new declaration of open disclosure form to be considered for the 2024 round.This includes candidates for Corresponding Membership.

Tip: all questions and fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed to allow the nomination to be submitted.

Candidate forms - instructions:

  • All candidates are required to complete two forms (a consent to nomination form and a declaration of open disclosure form).
  • Please select each of the ‘COPY LINK’ buttons to the relevant forms below and paste these links into an email to send to your candidate. (For your reference, the links open Academy webpages that provide information for the candidate, and access to the digital DocuSign forms). 
  • When the candidate has completed each form, a copy of their form will be automatically emailed to you (the proposer), for you to upload into Section A.

Tip: Make sure you select the correct election type below (and in Section A of the form) as this will change the links to the forms (and the questions asked in the nomination). (The choice you select in the box below will display on a white background with gold text).
