Taskforce to consider future of library's holdings

July 28, 2015

The Academy has appointed a taskforce of experts to consider the future of the Basser Library and Fenner Archives' holdings.

Last month, the Academy's library and archives, which hold a range of historical material relating to the history of Australian science, closed their doors to the public.

The members of a newly-formed library taskforce have expertise in the history of science and archival preservation and will look at the future of the collection, including rehousing in relevant institutions.

All enquiries about the library and archives should be directed to the Academy.
