Updates and consultation opportunities

Australia’s Future in Space: a strategic plan for space science is being developed through a process of extensive community consultation. This process ensures that information from the perspectives of the learned academies, universities, government agencies and industry is collected and considered when developing the plan.

Initial consultation took place in early 2021. A second and final opportunity for input into the draft report is anticipated for August/September 2021.

This webpage will be updated as opportunities to provide input arise. Contact the project manager with any queries.

Australian in Space is a plan for Australian space science. We are seeking images for inclusion in the plan that encompass the breadth of Australian space science and diversity of the people and the fields. We encourage photo submissions from all fields of space science. The type of images could include but are not limited to individuals or groups in the field/working, satellites, earth observation, aerial data or even concept designs.

The images must be publication quality, include a short description and credit line and have permission of use from the owner of the image and any individuals featured within the image.
