Three new video podcast interviews are now available as part of the Academy’s new series, Brain Box.

Dr Lisa Harvey-Smith, an astronomer helping to build the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder—part of the world’s biggest telescope, talks about her love of running and the breathtaking beauty of the night sky.

Dr Peter Enticott, an expert working on a biomedical treatment for autism, spoke with the Academy about how challenging it is to cope with some of the expectations of parents with autistic children.

Dr Lisa Alexander, a researcher in climate extremes, discussed her love of mathematics and weather and some of the misconceptions about being a climate scientist.

The Academy’s Brain Box series aims to counter stereotypes about scientists and show the personal side of the researchers who do amazing work in Australian science.
