On 28 October 2024, the Academy made a submission on the National Digital Research Infrastructure (NDRI) Investment Plan Environment Scan consultation.

On 11 October 2024, the Academy made a submission to the Independent Forestry Panel, which has been established to engage with stakeholders to inform the development of the Forestry Industry Action Plan by the NSW Government.

On 4 October 2024, the Academy made a submission to the Department of Industry, Science and Resources on mandatory guardrails for AI in high-risk settings.
