Registrations are now open for Science at the Shine Dome 2016.
Join us on 24 to 26 May 2016 in Canberra for this annual event at which Australia’s foremost physical and biological scientists gather to honour outstanding work in science. High achievers will be admitted to the Fellowship of the Australian Academy of Science and medals for excellence will be awarded. Workshops will also be held for early- and mid-career scientists.
There will also be a science symposium on the topic ‘HumanPLUS’. How are the lines between human and machine being blurred through bionics and robotics? What changes is this making to people’s lives? And what does the future hold? Leading speakers such as Professor Miguel Nicolelis, Professor Rob Shepherd, Professor Gordon Wallace FAA FTSE and Associate Professor Katina Michael will reveal the exciting road ahead to becoming HumanPLUS.
To enquire about opportunities to sponsor this event, please contact Mitchell Piercey, Events Manager, by email or on 02 6201 9462.
