Catch-up with Fellows in Brisbane

Academy  secretariat staff Karen Holt, Tracey Murray, Isobel Griffin travelled to Brisbane to share some social events with Academy Fellows from  QUT, The University of Queensland, James Cook University and Griffith University.  They had a very productive trip (meeting up with Michelle Tapper from the video production team) with opportunities to catch-up with Fellows over lunch at QUT and UQ and at dinner with some special guests.  Helene Marsh,  Secretary for biological sciences flew down from Cairns for the occasion.

We can highly recommend The Fantauzzo art hotel. Amongst the celebrity portraits . . . Karen found a couple of familiar faces just outside her room! These were taken by Vincent Fantauzzo in 2012. Vincent is married to actress, Asher Keddie.
