What will the corporations and institutions of the future look like in a sustainable global and Australian economy? What kind of urban environment is compatible with a decent lifestyle for the 90% or more of Australians who live in cities? What changes in values and behaviour are required to enable the social transformation to sustainability and how might we make them?

Join with Future Earth Australia to take the lead in establishing the collaborations and knowledge base essential for Australia to find answers to these questions – register now for the Future Earth Australia workshop at the Australian Academy of Science in April.

Leading thinkers are coming together for this exciting two-day workshop to discuss the complex interplay of environmental, economic, cultural and social issues, and examine ways to enable Australia to design a sustainable future.

Future Earth Australia is a node of the international Future Earth Program. It aims to support and facilitate Australian activities that underpin our national sustainability, and define and address those questions that are unique to Australia and its region that no one else will tackle. As an integral part of the international Future Earth Program, it will position us to lever the enormous capability of that global effort to address Australia’s special problems and to mobilise our unique opportunities.
