The Australian Academy of Science’s National Committee for Chemistry is asking the public to comment on a long-term plan for chemistry.
The committee and its decadal plan working group have released an exposure draft of the Decadal Plan for Chemistry 2016–2025: Chemistry—For a better life. The plan looks at the future of the discipline in schools, universities, industry, government and research.
The Academy's National Committees for science develop 10-year strategic plans for each scientific discipline, to assess current knowledge and set future research priorities.
