On The Job nominations now open

Nominations are now open for 'On The Job'—a special project that aims to showcase the technical and support staff of Australian science.

The Academy, in collaboration with Australia’s Science Channel (RiAus), will showcase Australia's laboratory and field technicians, support staff and machine operators as part of a video series for National Science Week. 

Finalists will get to spend the day with a professional filming team who will capture a day in the life of each partcipant. They will also go in the running to win the chance to spend a day with an internationally-recognised scientist. The finalists will be selected by a panel of judges but one of the seven finalists will also be selected by popular vote.

Nominations close 1 May.
