Our last EMCR Pathways issue came to you as we all retreated into our homes, and this one will hopefully find you as we cautiously start emerging from them. We hope all you amazing EMCRs have stayed as well as you can during these difficult times.

Get ready to be inspired in this edition of Pathways. In this issue, we reflect on both the good and the bad that has come from the rush to work from home. Paola Magni takes us on her forensic science journey and science communication superstar Dr Mike Todorovic takes us through a day on the job as a lecturer, YouTube star and podcaster. We also share a piece from Aussie hockey star Tristan Clemons on his dual journeys in academia and elite sports. Plus, you can read what we’ve been up to and see the most recent advice from our Agony Aunt and keep an eye out for National Science Week events in August!

As always, get in touch if you would like to contribute to any of these sections, have an EMCR group or event you would like to see featured, or have a question for our Agony Aunt.
