Professor Gordon Ada AO FAA (1922 – 2012) Eminent biochemist, virologist, and immunologist. With personal thanks for providing a great research environment in the Department of Microbiology at the John Curtin School of Medical Research in the years 1972-5 that enabled the discovery leading to the 1996 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine.
