Japan short-term fellowships for Australian researchers

Eight researchers from Australia have been awarded Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Invitation Fellowships for Foreign Researchers. The researchers, including specialists in human movement and sport science, biochemistry and cell biology, and communications technologies come from research institutions and universities around Australia. They will travel to Japan in the next few months to conduct cooperative research in universities and research institutions around Japan, and will also attend seminars and give lectures. The researchers were selected by the Academy. These short-term fellowships are supported by the Australian Government Department of Industry.

The Australia-Japan exchange fellowships have been running since 1977.
