The Scientific Visits to Taiwan allowed Australian professional scientists to visit Taiwan to collaborate with Taiwan researchers. This scheme comes under the agreement between the Australian Academy of Science and the National Science Council of Taiwan. Successful applicants received a grant-in-aid as a contribution towards travel between Australia and the host institution(s) and a living allowance for a period of between 14 days and 28 days.
