The Academy has assembled its team of writers for reSolve: Mathematics by Inquiry, a bold new national program to develop and promote innovative approaches to mathematics teaching in Australian schools.

Kristen Tripet, Michael Klinkert and Bruce Ferrington have joined the project, headed by Dr Steve Thornton, to write resources for students and teachers.

Along with expert advisers and colleagues from the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers, the team is looking at some of their favourite activities spanning Foundation to Year 10 and talking about how they might inform future work.

Overseen by a committee led by internationally-recognised mathematician and Academy Council member Professor Cheryl Praeger AM FAA, reSolve: Mathematics by Inquiry is managed by the Academy in collaboration with the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers, and is funded by the Australian Government.
