The Australian Government provided $460,365 in 2010/2011 through the Australia-Europe Research Collaboration Fund of the International Science Linkages (ISL) program for an Australia-Germany Researcher Mobility Call 2010/2011 and an Australia-Germany Solar Photovoltaics Research Call 2010/2011.
The ‘Mobility Call’ and the ‘Solar PV’ calls were one-off funding sources to facilitate bilateral research and travel funding was provided for Australian researchers to visit Germany (up to three months per trip) to work on collaborative research projects with German counterparts. These were bilateral calls, and the lead organisation from each country had to submit an application to their respective Government.
