The Scientific Visits to Korea allowed Australian professional scientists, to visit Korea to collaborate with Korean researchers. This scheme came under the agreement between the Australian Academy of Science and the National Science Foundation of Korea (NSF). Funding was provided to each successful applicant as a contribution towards travel between Australia and the host institution(s) for a period between 14 days and 28 days. NSF provided a living allowance and if required, a travel allowance.
