2018 Australasian Early Career Researchers Network (AECURN) Queensland Symposium: Transformation in Urban Environments features cutting-edge research from early career urban researchers on transforming cities

The symposium will foster professional development and enhance engagement through partnerships and dissemination of knowledge between new and more established academics to engage with the challenges of transformations facing urban research worldwide.

The day will include:

  • A plenary from Future Earth Australia on their Urban Systems Transformation Initiative
  • Presentations and discussions from top early career researchers
  • A panel discussion on post-PhD careers
  • Networking opportunities

Travel Scholarships

To assist attendees from Future Earth Australia member organisations to attend this event, Future Earth Australia is offering financial assistance. 

Financial assistance will be provided in the form of reimbursement, applicants are responsible for arranging their own flights and accommodation.
