The Scientific Visits to North America allowed Australian professional scientists, including early career researchers, to visit the USA, Canada or Mexico to collaborate with researchers in those countries. Funding of up to $10,500 was awarded to the successful applicants as a contribution towards travel between Australia and the host institution(s) and a living allowance for a period between 14 days and 40 days.
