Academy opportunities Science and Industry Endowment Fund – Australian Academy of Science Fellowships to the 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in physiology and medicine

The Academy invites applications from early career researchers, through their institute research office, for a fellowship to participate in the 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting dedicated to physiology and medicine. The meeting is being held from 25 to 30 June 2023.

Honours and awards to Fellows

Professor Richard Ellis CBE FAA FRS, Corresponding Member – awarded the Royal Medal A from the Royal Society for motivating numerous advances in telescopes and instrumentation, and exploiting these facilities to revolutionise the understanding of cosmological evolution.

The Australian Academy of Science has been granted leave to appear and be represented by legal counsel at the Second Inquiry into the convictions of Ms Kathleen Folbigg.

The Academy’s role in the Inquiry extends to making submissions addressing:
