The call for applications to participate in the 2016 US–Indonesia Kavli Frontiers of Science Symposium has now closed. 

Background

The annual Kavli Frontiers of Science Symposium brings together some of the best young scientists to explore exciting advances and opportunities in their fields. This highly interdisciplinary symposium emphasises communication of a wide range of contemporary science topics across the traditional disciplines.

The Promoter is the Australian Academy of Science (A.B.N. 90 700 613 342). Information on prizes and how to enter Australian Academy of Science competitions form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. By entering Australian Academy of Science competitions, entrants accept the above-stated Terms and Conditions of Entry. Entry to Australian Academy of Science competitions are open to all Australian residents; excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its related entities.

On 5 February 2016, the Academy made a submission to the Department of the Treasury in anticipation of the 2016-17 Federal Budget.

On 11 February 2016, the Academy made a submission to the Joint Committee on Trade and Investment Growth in relation to its inquiry into the future of Australian research and innovation.
